Agreement reached in singer Gwen Stefani's divorce

When it comes to divorce, each situation is unique. For example, some couples have prenuptial agreements in place, which can have a significant impact on the distribution of marital property, while others do not. In Salt Lake City, and the rest of Utah, married couples who are thinking about divorce should try to take every factor into consideration beforehand. By thoroughly preparing, couples can streamline the process and prevent bitter disputes.

In 2015, singer Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale shared their divorce plans with the public. At the time, rumors were floating around alleging that Rossdale was having an affair with the couple's ex-nanny. The couple recently reached a divorce agreement and Rossdale will receive under 50 percent of the funds acquired over the course of the pair's marriage.

46-year-old Gwen Stefani and 50-year-old Gavin Rossdale were married for almost 13 years. However, a prenuptial agreement was never signed by the two and Rossdale was in agreement with the uneven distribution of assets, although he could have received half of the assets. Rossdale was also granted joint custody of the couple's three children.

From child support and alimony to property division and parental relocation, couples may have to confront a myriad of legal issues with regard to divorce. For some, discussing the individual characteristics of their circumstances with an adept legal professional who can help provide them with a better understanding of their options is preferable. After all, handling divorce appropriately is essential, especially for those with children or a high net worth.
